- Itinerary
The trip will start as soon as you arrive in Jaipur. As per your convenience, you can fly to the city, take a train or a bus. As soon as you are in the city, it will be time to check into your hotel and start your exploration. If you arrive in Jaipur later in the day, you can just leisurely explore the nearby places, but if you do have some more time on hand, then take a deeper dive into the city, its culture, history, art, and of course, its delicious cuisine. You will be staying in Jaipur overnight.
Day two will actually kick-start the real fun. You will wake up in Jaipur, enjoy a local cuisine for breakfast and hop right into our vehicle. Jaipur has a lot to offer, and soon you will see all of it. No matter which direction you go, there will be gorgeous religious and cultural sites to admire. This will include a prominent temple, a classic heritage sightseeing, a grand hill fort/palace, the iconic city palace, a water palace and a wind-palace. It will be a full day of immersing in Jaipur’s royal architecture and spiritual ambience before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

On day three, you will be moving to the second destination of the trip. Today's destination is Bundi, a beautiful but underexplored city in Rajasthan. This lesser-known but picturesque town of Bundi is known for its historic palaces, ancient murals, forts, and old-city architecture. As the sun starts to set in the evening, you can take a stroll through local bazaars and maybe shop for small souvenirs. Later, relax at the hotel after a day steeped in heritage.

Day four of the trip might be a bit hectic as you have quite a few miles to cover today. As you wake in the morning, enjoy the calm of the city with a delicious breakfast before you pack your bags and leave for your next destination. Your first stop of the day will be Chittorgarh, which has a heritage-rich history. In Chittorgarh, you will visit an imposing fort, royal palaces, victory towers & historic monuments. After spending quite a few hours in the city, start moving to your next destination, which is Udaipur. On arrival, check in to your hotel, rest, and enjoy a peaceful boat ride on a scenic lake in the evening.

Today, you will fully explore this naturally abundant and architecturally beautiful city. You might want to wake up early to catch the sunrise, especially if you can get a lake view. Then enjoy your breakfast and set out to explore the city's romantic, royal, and cultural side. You will be visiting the historic royal palace complex, traditional temples, a historic garden, heritage gardens, and cultural heritage sites such as a folk-art museum or cultural centre. After this long day, the best way to end it is to relax, soaking in Udaipur’s lakes, heritage vibe, and local culture.

For anyone who assumes that Rajasthan only has desert, Udaipur and Mount Abu come as a pleasant surprise. These two places are the oases of Rajasthan. Therefore, you should travel directly from Udaipur to Mount Abu. And that is what you will do on day six. You will leave Udaipur after breakfast. As you reach Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station, check in and then head out to explore its serene natural beauty and spiritual/historic sites. The list for today's exploration will include temples, a serene lake, a viewpoint rock and the famous sunset point.

As you wake up in Mount Abu, enjoy a scenic view with breakfast and prepare to leave for your next destination, Jodhpur. The city is also called the "Sun City” or “Blue City” and is known for its distinctive charm. As you arrive here, check in to your hotel and begin exploring. You will visit some of the most gorgeous spots today, like a majestic hill-fort dominating the city skyline, royal palace complexes, and the historic heart of Jodhpur. The evening will be free for a local market stroll or relaxation.

There will not be much exploding on day eight. But that does not mean there will be no fun. Today you will finally be moving from the gateway to Thar to Thar, i.e., from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. Enjoy a nice breakfast in Jodhpur and check out of your hotel. The scenery en route is breathtaking. On arrival, you will have a relaxed evening to settle in and prepare for the desert experience ahead.
While you have been in the city for a while, on day nine, you will actually meet it. So try to have an early breakfast and get on the streets as soon as possible. Today will be a full day in Jaisalmer. You will explore the golden-sandstone fort, historic havelis and temples of the old city, and serene lakes. Once you have explored the local sights, venture out to the desert, the most exciting part of it all. Here you can enjoy a desert safari (camel or jeep), sunset in the dunes, a desert camp stay under the stars, and a traditional cultural program with music/dance.

What many people do not know about Rajasthan is that the state is home to several kinds of migrating birds that fly to several parts of the state during winter. One of the most amazing spots for bird watching here is Bikaner, which is also our next destination. So on the morning of day 10, you will leave Jaisalmer and travel toward Bikaner. Birdwatching is done on the outskirts of the city. In the main city, visit its historic fort and palaces/mansions (havelis), and enjoy local city life or bazaars in the evening. Overnight stay in Bikaner.

You will be visiting the last two destinations of the trip. Your day will start with a delicious breakfast, and then you will check out of the hotel and start moving to Ajmer from Bikaner. The journey will be short but sweet. As you reach Ajmer, you will first visit the famous shrine. From there, you will move to the second destination of the day, Pushkar. As you will reach the city by evening, start exploring the city right away. Start at the holy lake and then the unique Bramha temple, enjoying the spiritual aura of the town. You will be staying in Pushkar overnight.

This wonderful trip will finally come to its conclusion on day twelve. As the trip finally ends in Jaipur, you will check out of your hotel in Pushkar after having breakfast. As you start your journey back to Jaipur, the time to depart for home will also be near. Once in Jaipur, you will be dropped off at the railway station/airport/bus stop. But we won't send you back empty-handed. We will bid you adieu with a lifetime experience and beautiful memories of forts, palaces, deserts, lakes, hills, culture, and heritage.
