- Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur & City Exploration
Your Triple J journey through Rajasthan begins in Jaipur, the capital of the state. On arrival at the airport or railway station, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to relax and freshen up before heading out to explore the Pink City.
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
One of Jaipur’s most iconic landmarks, Hawa Mahal is a stunning pink sandstone structure with hundreds of small windows facing the city. It was designed so the royal women could watch daily life and festivals without being seen.
Jantar Mantar
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar is an ancient astronomical observatory built to study celestial movements. Its massive stone instruments were used to measure time, track stars, and observe astronomical events with remarkable accuracy.
City Palace Museum
The City Palace is a magnificent royal complex that once served as the private residence of Jaipur’s rulers. While part of the palace is still home to the royal family, the museum areas are open to visitors and display royal costumes, weapons, and historical artefacts.
Govind Dev Ji Temple & Local Markets
End your day at the revered Govind Dev Ji Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple offers a peaceful yet spiritually vibrant atmosphere, especially during evening prayers. Afterward, stroll through nearby markets to experience Jaipur’s local life, colours, and crafts.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
Jaipur is much more than the capital of Rajasthan—it is a city where art, culture, and traditions come alive. To truly experience its charm, this day is dedicated to exploring more of the Pink City. After an early breakfast, set out to discover Jaipur’s iconic forts, palaces, and spiritual landmarks.
Amer Fort
Standing proudly on a hilltop, Amer Fort is a magnificent blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. As you walk through its grand courtyards and ornate halls, you will come across the stunning Sheesh Mahal, famous for its intricate mirror work.
Jaigarh Fort
Built for defense, Jaigarh Fort is best known for housing the world’s largest wheeled cannon, the Jaivana. Positioned between Amer and Nahargarh forts, it offers sweeping views of the surrounding hills and the Amber Fort below.
Nahargarh Fort
Perched high on the Aravalli Hills, Nahargarh Fort is one of Jaipur’s most scenic spots. It provides breathtaking views of the city skyline, especially during sunset, with sights stretching across Jaipur and towards Jal Mahal.
Jal Mahal
Meaning “Water Palace,” Jal Mahal appears to float gracefully in the center of Man Sagar Lake. While entry is restricted, the palace looks stunning from the lakeside, making it a favorite stop for photography.
Birla Temple
Crafted from white marble, Birla Temple stands against the scenic Aravalli backdrop. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, the temple offers a peaceful atmosphere and looks especially beautiful as the sun sets behind the hills.
Day 3: Jaipur to Jodhpur – Transfer & Sightseeing
On day three, you travel onward to Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. While it shares Rajasthan’s royal spirit with Jaipur, Jodhpur has a character and rhythm entirely its own. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and head out to explore the city’s iconic sights.
Mehrangarh Fort
Towering over the city from a rocky hilltop, Mehrangarh Fort is Jodhpur’s most striking landmark. Its massive walls enclose beautiful palaces and a museum displaying royal artefacts, while the ramparts offer breathtaking views of the blue houses spread below.
Jaswant Thada
Built in white marble, Jaswant Thada is a serene royal cenotaph dedicated to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Surrounded by gardens and featuring delicate marble carvings, it offers a calm and picturesque escape from the city’s bustle.
Ghanta Ghar & Local Market
End the day at Ghanta Ghar, the famous clock tower and one of Jodhpur’s liveliest areas. The surrounding market is a hub of local life, filled with spices, textiles, handicrafts, and traditional Rajasthani goods, giving you a true taste of the city.
Day 4: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer – Transfer & Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Jaisalmer, travelling through the changing desert landscape of western Rajasthan. En route, make a meaningful stop at the Jaisalmer War Memorial to pay respect to the brave soldiers of India. On reaching Jaisalmer, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax before heading out to explore the city.
Jaisalmer War Memorial
Set against the vast desert backdrop, the Jaisalmer War Memorial honours the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The site displays tanks, war equipment, and informative exhibits that highlight important moments in India’s military history.
Jaisalmer Fort
Rising from the desert on a sandstone hill, Jaisalmer Fort is the most striking symbol of the Golden City. Built from golden-yellow stone, this living fort is home to temples, shops, and local residences. Its narrow lanes, Jain temples, and glowing architecture create a magical sight, especially under the desert sun.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 5: Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Desert Camp Experience
Wake up in the Golden City and continue exploring Jaisalmer’s timeless charm before heading into the desert for an unforgettable evening. The day blends heritage sightseeing with adventure, ending in a magical overnight stay at a desert camp.
Gadisar Lake
Begin your morning at Gadisar Lake, a historic man-made reservoir once vital to Jaisalmer’s water supply. Surrounded by temples and ghats, the lake offers peaceful views and beautiful reflections, creating a calm escape within the desert city.
Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli & Salim Singh Ki Haveli
Discover Jaisalmer’s artistic heritage through its famous havelis. Built by wealthy merchants, these grand mansions are known for their detailed stone carvings, ornate balconies, and impressive craftsmanship, making them must-visit landmarks of the city.
Sam Sand Dunes & Desert Camp
In the evening, head to the Sam Sand Dunes for a true desert adventure. Enjoy thrilling activities such as camel rides, jeep safaris, and optional dune bashing. As night falls, relax at the desert camp with traditional Rajasthani music, folk dance performances, and a bonfire under the starlit sky, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 6: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur – Transfer & Departure
The final day of your journey begins with a peaceful morning in the desert camp. After breakfast, pack your bags and prepare to bid farewell to the Golden City and the Thar Desert as you start your drive back to Jodhpur.
