Day 1 : Arrival in Jaipur
▼The tour will start in the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur, as it should. If anything, the city is the heart of the state and well-connected throughout the nation. As you arrive in Jaipur, you will be met by our representative, who will also be your driver for the trip. They will take you to your hotel, where you will check in and get some rest. After that, visit a few attractions in the evening, like a white-marble temple and a museum, to get a first taste of Jaipur’s cultural heritage. Day 2 : Jaipur Sightseeing
▼While you have done some exploration, most of the sightseeing in Jaipur will be done on day two. So hop in right after your breakfast. Today you will explore the historic hilltop fort and palace complex, see the water palace in the lake, visit the ornate palace and observatory in the old city, and catch the iconic “Palace of Winds.” After a day full of fun, return to the hotel in the evening and relax. Day 03 : Drive to Bikaner (via Ajmer & Pushkar)
▼As promised, this 8 days Rajasthan itinerary is a mix of the famous locations and hidden gems of Rajasthan. So today you will be visiting one of those hidden gems, Bikaner. The city is known for its architectural marvels. However, before you reach the destination, take a mandatory stop at the sacred town of Ajmer and the spiritual town of Pushkar. During these stops, visit the famous shrine, the historic temple, and the holy lake. Later, as you finally reach Bikaner, check into your hotel and relax. Day 04 : Bikaner sightseeing & Transfer to Jaisalmer (via desert-route transfer)
▼Wake up early on day four, and, right after your breakfast, start sightseeing in Bikaner. You will be visiting the city's impressive hill fort today, which is one of the very few forts built at ground level. After that, depart for Jaisalmer. You will reach the desert city by evening. Once in Jaisalmer, check into your hotel (or heritage stay) and spend the evening at leisure. Places to visit : Junagarh Fort (Bikaner)
Day 05 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing & Desert-Camp Experience
▼You have so much to do on day five that the earlier you start your day, the better. So hit the streets of Jaisalmer right after an early breakfast. You will begin by exploring the city's golden fort and the ornate old-city havelis and mansions. Then, from the main city, you will head to the desert. At the camp, there will be several fun activities like a camel safari (or optional jeep/dune ride), a spectacular desert sunset, and local folk music and cultural performance, followed by traditional dessert and a magical desert night. Places to visit : Jaisalmer Fort | Historic havelis (e.g. Patwon ki Haveli, etc.) | Desert area for camel ride & sunset | Desert camp experience
Day 06 : Travel from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur & Sightseeing in Blue City
▼On day six you will be leaving Jaisalmer and travelling to Jodhpur, the “Blue City.” So grab an early breakfast and then check out quickly so that you can hit the roads early in the morning. The journey to Jodhpur will be short but scenic. As you finally arrive in Jodhpur, don't waste much time; quickly check into the hotel and head right out for sightseeing. Today, you will explore the city’s grand hill fort, royal palace complexes, and a beautiful marble cenotaph, which will give you a glimpse of royal heritage and panoramic views. After a long day of travelling and exploring, rest well in your hotel at night. Places to visit : Mehrangarh Fort | Umaid Bhawan (or palace area) | Jaswant Thada
Day 07 : Move from Jodhpur to Udaipur (Lake City) & Evening Boating
▼Day seven is all about enjoying the stunning landscape of Rajasthan’s countryside as you move from Jodhpur to Udaipur. You will depart from Jodhpur after breakfast and begin your journey towards Udaipur. As most of the day will be spent in the journey, you will reach in the evening, which is the perfect time for enjoying a serene evening boat ride on a historic lake surrounded by palaces and lakeside beauty. The experience will highlight why Udaipur is called the “City of Lakes.” Places to visit : Lake Pichola boat ride | Evening lakeside/ palatial views
Day 08 : Udaipur Sightseeing & Departure
▼As it is an 8-day Rajasthan tour itinerary, today will be the last day of the trip. However, before we part ways and you depart for your journey back home, you will be exploring this beautiful city of lakes. Some of the must-visit sites will be the city's royal palace complex, a historic temple, and charming gardens and heritage buildings. After sightseeing and perhaps a quick stroll through local markets, you will check out of your hotel and start your journey back home, ending your journey across Rajasthan with fond memories that you will get to cherish for the rest of your life.
